Cassettes accepted if you do not yet have a CD.

Please do NOT send lyric sheets or other promo material - we just want to hear your music.

The Songwriter's Beat is booked months in advance, so please be patient after sending in your submission.

We listen to a sample of every submission, but we can not guarantee a performance slot.

Please do not email or call to find out about your submission; we will contact you with an invitation to perform.

Because there are no paid staff, we are unable to contact artists who, for whatever reason, are not booked at the Songwriter's Beat. We are also unable to return CDs. Thanks in advance for your understanding.

Please keep in mind that we suggest songwriters bring in new material when they perform at The Songwriter's Beat.
So....start thinking about new material, or reworking some older material, or poking around and finding that old song from high school that you never dared to perform live before......and have fun! Keep writing!!
